Chris Espinosa
Chris Espinosa serves as Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer for GreenLatinos. With nearly a decade of organizational management, federal public policy, coalition-building, and advocacy experience in Washington, D.C., he is a seasoned advocacy professional with a wealth of talent and a tremendous asset to the GreenLatinos team.With his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Chris assists GreenLatinos in its internal organizational development and long-term strategic growth, and manages the organization's programmatic implementation and day-to-day operations.
In addition to his recent role as Legislative Representative for Earth justice - covering clean water, lead, and mountaintop removal mining policy & legislation, Chris has served as the Senior Legislative Assistant to Representative Julia Brownley (D-CA), covering a broad policy portfolio on behalf of the Congresswoman. Chris has also served in senior leadership positions with some of the nation’s most well-respected Hispanic Advocacy institutions – including National Director of Policy & Legislation for Hispanic Federation, National Director of Special Projects for the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), and Deputy Director of the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (LCLAA).
Chris brings his unique ability to build and maintain diverse coalitions, his deep relationships with key leaders in both the environmental and Hispanic advocacy movements, and his tremendous commitment to social justice to GreenLatinos.
