Roberto Forns-Broggi is professor at Metropolitan State University of Denver since 1998. He teaches diverse Spanish advanced courses, including Latin American Cinema, and Latin American Essay on nature. His essays on ecological perspectives applied to literature, art, film and new media aim to investigate Latin American epistemologies and its influence in reading and writing practices. He published a collection of essays, aphorisms, reflections and other creative non-fiction prose, Nudos como estrellas: ABC de l)a imaginación ecológica en nuestras Américas. (Lima: Editorial Nido de Cuervos, 2012). [Knots like Stars: ABC of Ecological Imagination in Our Americas]. He is currently working on a collection of poems around long-term perspective of seeds and its implications in poetic imagination and ecological consciousness.
