Brooke Leifer

Brooke is an inspiring and multi-talented actress, singer, songwriter, dancer, and pianist from Massachusetts.

 

She has acted in numerous plays through various local theatre groups, including recent roles as Summer Hathaway in the East Coast, off Broadway premier of School of Rock, and as Gingy in Shrek.  She has also appeared in theatrical productions of Once Upon This Island, Jr., Seussical, Charlotte’s Web, Alice In Wonderland, Jr., Wizard of Oz, and Back to the 80s.

 

Brooke has been instrumental in promoting Green Schools and environmental initiatives.  Her original song One Earth received an award from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for making a “green” difference, and she was invited to sing the song at the State House in Boston in 2015 and 2016.  She also narrated a video for Certified High Performing Schools and was named a Healthy Kids Hero.

 

Brooke sang the National Anthem before the Boston Red Sox game at Fenway Park on July 5, 2015, in honor of Kids Nation Day!  In September 2015, Brooke won second place in at New England’s Got Talent, an all-ages competition, for her performance of Fight Song by Rachel Platten.

 

Brooke has also performed live at the National Green Schools Conference in Virginia Beach, the Long Island Food Conference in New York, the Green Schools Summit at Boston University, Boston GreenFest at City Hall Plaza, and other local events including charitable fundraisers.     

Brooke has recorded several original and cover songs with accompanying videos on her YouTube channel.  Brooke recently made a vocal appearance on the new album "Renewable Rap" by Mr Eco who is a rap superhero that empowers youth to become `EcoHeros'!  She is presently working on a new song to raise awareness about pollinators for the National Forest Service.  The video is expected to premier in July 2016.  

 

Brooke was nominated as best young performer by Limelight Magazine and placed 3rd in jingle contest for Subaru of New England.
