Marco Better is a dual Ecuadorian/US citizen since 2013.  Marco's personal interests relate to helping underrepresented communities and individuals have a voice in today's society, by establishing their presence on the web and on social media.

Marco is a Lecturer in the Leeds School of Business of the University of Colorado at Boulder, and has authored and co-authored many articles and book chapters in the fields of simulation optimization and risk management.  His 20 years of experience spans the automobile, banking and telecommunications industries, both in the U.S. and Latin America.  His current interests focus on the application of optimization, simulation and predictive analytics technology to solve complex business and social problems.

Dr. Better obtained his Ph.D. in Operations Research from the Leeds School of Business of the University of Colorado at Boulder. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering, and an M.B.A.
