Over the last 3 decades, Carey Mason has worked in the Human Capital Management (HCM) industry assisting U.S. based businesses to address their most strategic asset; their employees.
In a career spanning 34 years, Carey managed ADP business units throughout the U.S. and Australia where he served as the Managing Director for the Australia/New Zealand Payroll Operations. Most recently, Carey was the General Manager for the West Service Center which supported more than 20,000 HCM businesses throughout the Western United States.
Throughout his career, Carey has been actively involved with diversity and inclusion activities. He partnered with the National Sales Network, an African-American Professional Sales Affinity Group to develop an applicant pipeline. He was a judge for the OFC Venture Capital HBCU Business Plan Competition. In 2008, Carey established the ADP Southeast African-American Resource Group which provideed networking, mentoring, training and career management services to more than 350 ADP associates in the Southeastern United States. In 2013, Carey was appointed to the Los Angeles Urban League Board of Directors where he functions as the chairperson for the Program Committee.
Carey Mason holds a Bacherlor’s degree from the University of Kentucky and a Master’s degree from The Ohio State University. In May, 2015, Carey received his Diversity Management certificate from the Cornell University ILR School. Carey recently relocated to Boulder, CO where he is establishing a consultancy focused upon diversity and inclusion initiatives.
