Alex has 30 years of experience in communications and sustainability, including as reporter and editor of Caribbean Business newspaper in San Juan, strategic communications director at agencies and corporate departments, sustainability manager at two banks, and business development and content marketing specialist since 2014 in his AlexDiazEco boutique consultancy.

A graduate of International Development studies at UCLA and DePaul University in his native Chicago, Alex is a member of the Advisory Board of the U.S. Green Building Council Puerto Rico Chapter and recently joined the green-development movement in Charlotte, North Carolina.
